BrewNewable Fest @ Straight to Ale Brands
Sep 16 @ 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm

BrewNewable Fest is Huntsville’s party to celebrate sustainable energy!

We’re going to have a ton of full-on geeky goodness for you get your hands on.

– Electric car show
– Craft beer
– Solar clothing (AKA solar wearables)
– “Sustainable Superstars”
– Human energy generation races
– Live geothermal experiments
– More!

A little more detail:
We’ll have a variety of electric vehicles available for viewing and potentially free rides, if you talk extra nice to their owners. Makers 256 is creating “solar wearables” to get your hands-on the latest technology. People who’ve been there, done that will talk about exactly how they pulled it off.

People with live demos of technology like geothermal and solar will be there to let you play. AND we’ll be hosting bike races to see who can generate the most electricity. Rumor has it that if you generate enough electricity, it may accepted as payment for beer. Could just be a rumor though…

And our biggest part yet, we’re working on a super duper plan to giveaway an electric vehicle at the event. Stay tuned!
