Rotaract Prohibition Party

Rotaract Prohibition Party

April 13, 2018 @ 7:00 pm – 11:00 pm
Straight to Ale Speakeasy
2610 Clinton Ave W
Huntsville, AL 35805

A little party never killed nobody! Enjoy a night true to the 1920’s that consists of live jazz music by Silvery Moon Band, themed drinks, hors d’oeuvres, dancing and more! We’re going back to the roaring 20’s in the amazing atmosphere of the Straight To Ale Brewing Speakeasy. Hors d’oeuvres, a souvenir cup and a late night surprise are included with each ticket. Straight to Ale will have a signature cocktail specifically crafted for the party. Cocktails, beer and other beverages will be available for purchase at special pricing. A prize will be given out for the best dressed- so come looking snazzy!

Funds raised from the Prohibition Party go to facilitate our PROM project. For the past six years, Rotaract has held a prom for adults with disabilities in the Madison County area. For many of these participants, their mental or physical disability made it impossible for them to attend prom in high school, so our prom gives many of them an opportunity to fulfill a dream they were deprived of earlier in life. The clients are full of life and love as they dance and sing along with the DJ, enjoy getting their photos taken, and have a ball in their beautiful outfits, complete with corsages/boutonnieres and hair and make up for the ladies. For these clients and their families, this day of acknowledging their dreams and contributions to our society means so much. Tickets to this event will help us fund a bigger and better prom this fall, so invite all of your friends to this 20’s style bash!

You must be 21+ to attend.
