Huntsville comics and Straight to Ale rally together to raise money for local boys neuro-muscular degenerative condition, and give him a chance to live out his dreams.
A message from his mother;
“James is an 11 year old kid that loves to laugh. His favorite pastime is coming up with and telling jokes. James lives with cerebral palsy, dystonia, a seizure disorder, and autism. His doctors now tell us that James has some type of neuro-muscular degenerative condition, but we don’t know what it is. James needs testing from specialist that are familiar with his complex condition. James has a fire for life. He wants to grow up and tell jokes. We are asking our community to help get James the specialists that he needs.”
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. comedians will host the “I’m not even supposed to be here” comedy show and fundraiser in the Straight to AleSpeakeasy Tuesday Jan. 8th at 7 p.m. The event will feature local comics and a first time performance from James Pollard himself! Expected to be a night of laughs and great memories, all proceeds from the show will go directly to the James Pollard medical fund.
The event is free and open to the public; however attendees are asked to donate $5 toward the cause.
The comedy fundraiser show will be held in the Straight to Ale Speakeasy from 7 to 9p.m. at 2610 Clinton Ave. in Huntsville.
