To celebrate the release of our three new wine blends and the opening of the High Falls Tasting Room at Straight to Ale, we’re hosting a special wine pairing dinner featuring delicious dishes from Ale’s Kitchen on March 1st. Wine expert Raymond Grimes from Blue Valley Vineyards in Virginia will be joining us to talk more about the wines paired with each course. Seating is limited so reserve your seat while you can! Course 1: Apple/peach cider paired with an Apple and arugula salad
Granny smith apples, Stilton cheese, balsamic vinaigrette, and toasted walnuts
Course 2: Chardonnay paired with Crab cake w/ beurre blanc
on a bed of greens with roasted red pepper
Course 3: Red Blend paired with Lamb w/ wild mushroom bordelaise
Served over fingerling potatoes with haricots verts
Course 4: Rose blend paired with Rhubarb tart
served with strawberries and blackberries, garnished with creme fraiche.
