Straight to Ale is open 11am-9pm daily for dine in as well as walk in, call in, and online take out orders.
Updated 5/8/2020 - As the Governor has approved restaurants to begin re-opening, Straight to Ale will be reopening for dine in service starting Monday May 11, and expanding our taproom hours to 11am – 9pm daily. We are eager to have a beer with you, but we are also aware that this virus is not over, so we are implementing some strict policies to continue to keep our patron’s health and safety as our number one priority.
As we move towards a new normal, you’ll notice some changes when you dine in with us. First and foremost, our staff will be required to wear masks at all times. We will be reopening our taproom and patio spaces for now, and our capacity will be cut in half, with our tables spaced to provide ample distance between guests. We will continue to only use disposable cups, plates, utensils, and condiments. This includes our menus, which you are welcome to take with you and use for your future takeout orders, or allow our servers to dispose of them after your use. We will have options for touchless payment as well, just ask your server. We will continue to thoroughly sanitize our taproom, patio, and bathrooms regularly throughout the day. We have also installed foot openers on our bathroom doors to reduce the amount of touch points. Of course, we will continue to offer to go options, including online ordering and curbside delivery.
As we implement our phase one procedures, we ask that you help us out by following some new regulations when visiting us. First and foremost, do not visit us if you have a fever, cough, or other symptoms of illness. We will have one entrance door and one exit door in the taproom – please follow signage to help us create a flow of traffic that keeps everyone properly distanced from each other. We will have walkways marked on the floor, as well as marked spacing in our waiting areas – please follow these to maintain proper distance from other patrons. We will have a staff member working the door to greet and seat customers, and ensure we are staying under our new capacity, while ensuring that guests are following social distancing guidelines. Please listen to this staff member, and do not seat yourself at a table before it has been properly bussed and sanitized. We will not be allowing tables of more than 8 guests. Please do not pull tables together. We also encourage patrons to utilize outdoor seating areas, or enjoy a purple cup and picnic out on the Butler Green if the weather allows.
We can’t begin to express how grateful we are for the support the community has given us during this difficult time. Thank you to the patrons who have visited us in the past weeks and abided by our newly enforced guidelines, and to the staff that continues to uphold pristine sanitation and health practices. It has been amazing to see this community come together to push through this with the consideration of others being top priority, so as we reopen, let’s keep that momentum going. Stay safe, stay separate, and take care of yourselves and each other.
